Waxing removes hair from the root and temporarily opens follicles, which makes the hours after your service a critical window. The right aftercare keeps skin calm, clear, and smooth for weeks. The wrong moves can cause irritation, breakouts, or premature regrowth.
The First Two Hours
Skip the gym. Sweat introduces bacteria to open follicles.
Avoid tight clothing over waxed areas — friction creates irritation.
No hot baths, saunas, or steam rooms. Lukewarm or cool water only.
Keep your hands off freshly waxed skin.
Hours 2–48
This is the window where most people experience minor redness or bumps — both completely normal. Apply a light, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel to soothe. Avoid retinoids, AHAs, and exfoliating products on waxed areas. Sun exposure on fresh skin leads to hyperpigmentation, so cover up or apply SPF 30+.
“Aftercare is half the result. We do the work in the room — you protect it outside of it.”
Maintaining Results Longer
Starting around day 3–4, begin gentle exfoliation two to three times a week to prevent ingrown hairs. A soft dry brush or a sugar scrub works well. Keeping skin hydrated daily helps the new hair grow in straight and clean, which makes your next wax faster and less uncomfortable.
Book your next appointment at 4 weeks for facial waxing and 5–6 weeks for body waxing. Consistent timing trains the hair cycle, and each session becomes progressively more comfortable.
