Terms of Service

Effective date: April 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services, website, and facilities provided by Hoa Sen at Madison Valley (“we,” “our,” or “us”), located at 2900 E Madison St, Seattle, WA 98112. By visiting our salon or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Services

Hoa Sen at Madison Valley offers professional nail and waxing services including, but not limited to, manicures, pedicures, gel, dip powder, acrylics, nail art, and waxing. Service availability may vary and is subject to change without notice.

All services are performed by trained professionals. Results may vary based on individual factors such as skin type, existing nail condition, and adherence to aftercare instructions. We make no guarantee of specific outcomes.

2. Appointments

Booking

Appointments may be booked by phone, text, email, or through our online booking system. A confirmed appointment is a reserved time slot held exclusively for you. By booking, you agree to arrive at or before your scheduled time.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, full-service completion cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals, and the full service price may still apply.

Cancellations and No-Shows

  • We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service value.
  • No-shows (failure to appear without notice) may incur a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service value and may result in the requirement of a deposit for future bookings.
  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future appointments at our discretion.

Walk-Ins

Walk-in clients are warmly welcomed based on availability. We cannot guarantee service for walk-ins during peak hours and recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.

3. Health, Safety, and Client Responsibilities

Health Disclosures

For your safety and the safety of our team, please inform us before your appointment of any of the following:

  • Skin conditions, infections, or open wounds in the area to be treated.
  • Allergies to nail products, waxes, adhesives, or skincare ingredients.
  • Pregnancy, recent surgery, or medical conditions that may affect the suitability of a service.
  • Current medications that may affect skin sensitivity (e.g., blood thinners, retinoids).

We reserve the right to decline or modify any service if, in our professional judgment, proceeding could risk the health or safety of the client or our staff.

Contraindications

Certain services may not be appropriate for individuals with specific health conditions. We will advise you if we believe a service is contraindicated for you. Our recommendations are based on professional judgment and do not constitute medical advice.

Conduct

We are committed to providing a calm, respectful environment for all clients and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to, or ask to leave, any individual who engages in abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing

Service prices are listed in our current menu and are subject to change without prior notice. Prices quoted at the time of booking are honored for that appointment.

Payment

  • We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and select digital payment methods.
  • Payment is due at the time of service.
  • Gratuities for our technicians are appreciated and may be given in cash or added to your card payment.

Refunds

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are unsatisfied with a service, please let us know before leaving the salon or within 48 hours of your appointment. We will make every reasonable effort to correct the issue at no additional charge. Refunds are issued at our discretion and only where a service was not performed as agreed. We do not offer refunds for services rendered where the result is affected by factors outside our control (e.g., individual nail or skin conditions, improper aftercare).

5. Gift Cards and Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
  • Gift cards do not expire and may be used toward any service or product.
  • Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any promotion at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of Hoa Sen at Madison Valley or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hoa Sen at Madison Valley and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hoa Sen at Madison Valleyand its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your use of our services, or your provision of inaccurate health information that results in an adverse reaction.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
